Art For Awareness

Mural Project For The Lost Dogs Home In North Melbourne

The Mural

I painted a mural at The Lost Dogs' Home to bring awareness to pets in need of adoption. Drawing on my background working with animals, I created a vibrant dog and cat design inspired by their logo and colours, using my flowing linework and bold street art style.

What was once a blank wall is now a welcoming focal point, used as a backdrop for adoption photos and enjoyed by volunteers, staff, and visitors alike. This project shows how animal-themed murals can transform spaces while connecting people to the cause.

The Video

I also documented the painting process to make a video highlighting animal welfare and foster programs. Sharing the mural’s transformation helps raise awareness beyond the wall itself and encourages people to get involved.

Combining live mural painting with storytelling is a great way to engage a wider audience while showcasing meaningful, animal-focused artwork.
