Melbourne Mural Artist | Lukas Kasper
Large-Scale Mural Artist Based in Melbourne, Australia
Mental Health, Nature and Street Art Influences
My name is Lukas Kasper, and I’m a mural artist based in Melbourne, Australia. I specialise in painting large-scale murals and facilitating public art projects of all shapes and sizes. My journey into art began in 2009, influenced by street art, graffiti, and skateboarding culture.
My work is primarily focused on themes of mental health, animals, and the environment. I use a combination of painting techniques and imaginative visual language to merge these ideas, creating work that blends traditional street art influences with adaptive colour use, native flora and fauna, and bold flowing line work.
I have been fortunate enough to paint murals, exhibit my work, create designs for major corporations, complete artist residencies, and facilitate creative workshops across Australia and internationally, including America, Canada, Indonesia, Mongolia, China, and Thailand.

Creative Process and Video Documentation
Mural Work, Painting Process and Visual Storytelling Through Video
Video creation is another major passion of mine, alongside painting. Growing up skateboarding, I always carried a camera in my pocket to document the day’s adventures, capturing movement, process, and moments along the way.
These days, the skateboarding has been replaced with large-scale mural painting, but the habit of documenting the creative journey remains the same. Through video, I share a closer look into my process, from concept development through to painting on site, offering insight into how each mural comes to life.
