Colourful Sandringham Cafe Wall Mural
A Vibrant Street Art Mural for a Beachside Melbourne Business
As part of the Sandringham Street Art Walk, I was invited to transform the side wall of Our Little Ray Of Sunshine, a beachside cafe in Sandringham, Melbourne. The mural sits within a laneway alongside work by a range of established mural and street artists, adding another colourful artwork to the local streetscape.
Using a combination of spray paint, brushwork and my street art-inspired style, I created an experimental mural designed to bring colour and personality to the cafe while working with the existing architecture of the building. The artwork also turned an otherwise awkward wall into a feature, incorporating pipes, tubes and other imperfections into the overall design rather than trying to hide them.
Colourful Business Murals With a Distinctive Street Art Style
I create custom business murals for cafes, restaurants, shops and other commercial spaces across Melbourne, using the experience and visual language developed through my street art practice to create artwork that feels original to the business.
A commercial mural doesn't have to look like a generic painted wall. I work with the character of each space to create bold, colourful and visually distinctive murals that can brighten an exterior, transform a laneway or turn an ordinary business wall into a feature that people remember.
For cafes and businesses in Sandringham, Bayside and Melbourne's south-east, murals can be a great way to add personality to a space while contributing something unique to the surrounding community.
