Pave The Way To Gular Street Art Festival
Created in Gulargambone, New South Wales, during the Pave The Way To Gular Street Art Festival, this mural explores an imagined world where nature, wildlife and spirit exist together in harmony.
The concept brings together waterfalls, birds, flowers and a glowing sunset, combining Australian flora and fauna with psychedelic colours and flowing, dreamlike forms. Rather than depicting a single scene realistically, I wanted to create a utopian landscape that feels imaginative and otherworldly, inviting viewers to explore the different elements within the composition.
Combining Nature, Colour and Psychedelic Street Art
My approach to this mural blends recognisable natural elements with expressive patterns, bold colour and surreal visual details. The result is a vibrant piece of street art that celebrates the natural world while imagining what it might look like in a more fantastical setting.
Projects like this allow me to explore the possibilities of public art beyond traditional imagery, using murals to bring colour, character and a sense of discovery to shared spaces. The work formed part of a wider creative visit to Gulargambone, where I also painted a skatepark mural and documented other projects around town.
