Floral Mural

A mural painted at St Albans Florist commissioned by Brimbank City Council & Painted by Melbourne mural artist; Lukas Kasper

Things are blossoming in Melbournes West

Category: Animals & Nature Murals

Located in Melbourne’s western suburb of St Albans, this vibrant floral mural was created to bring to life a series of shopfronts and bring a renewed sense of identity and energy to the area. Working collaboratively with local business owners and stakeholders, the mural was designed to reflect the spirit of the community and the diverse, hardworking businesses that thrive within it.

This street art piece features a playful, uplifting arrangement of blooming roses and native flowers, symbolising growth, connection, and resilience. Bees fly amongst the petals, collecting pollen—a subtle nod to the ongoing work and activity of the local community—while floating bubbles drift through the scene to create a sense of lightness, movement, and wonder.

Created with my signature use of flowing lines, and a bold colour palette, this mural transforms an ordinary streetscape into a welcoming visual experience. It’s more than just a decorative piece—it's a story of collaboration, culture, and creativity. This public art project is part of my ongoing commitment to creating murals across Melbourne that connect people to place and inject colour, character, and life into everyday urban spaces.
