School Talks & Artist Presentations
Hear What It's Really Like to Build a Career in Art
I offer school talks and artist presentations that give students a genuine insight into life as a working professional artist and the different pathways available through a creative career.
I share my own journey from discovering street art and graffiti through to building a full-time career in mural painting, design and creative projects. Along the way, I talk about the opportunities, challenges and practical realities of turning a passion for art into a profession.
The aim is to show students that a career in art can take many different forms and that there are opportunities beyond the traditional pathways they may already know about.
Tailored to Your School
Presentations can be adapted to suit different year levels, school events and available time.
The content can be adjusted depending on whether the focus is on creative careers, street art and mural painting, developing an artistic practice or simply giving students inspiration and exposure to alternative career pathways.
An Opportunity to Ask Questions
Where appropriate, I also allow time for students to ask questions and engage directly with me about my career, creative process and experiences working as a professional artist.
For students who are interested in art but unsure where it could take them, hearing directly from someone who has built a career in the industry can provide a valuable perspective and a different way of thinking about their own future.
From Passion to Professional Practice
I talk honestly about the journey behind my career, including how I developed my skills, found opportunities and gradually turned art from a passion into my full-time work.
Students get to see the many different parts that can make up a creative career, from making artwork and working with clients through to managing projects, building a portfolio and finding opportunities to make a living from your skills.
More Than an Art Talk
The presentation is designed to be engaging, visual and accessible, using real examples from my own work and projects to bring the discussion to life.
It can be delivered as a standalone presentation or incorporated into one of my practical school workshops, giving students the opportunity to hear about the professional side of the creative industry before putting some of those ideas into practice themselves.
What Students Can Take Away
The presentation explores:
An insight into the life of a professional working artist
How I got started and developed my own creative practice
The creative and practical process behind murals and street art
What it is like working with schools, councils, businesses and major brands
Different creative career pathways available to young artists
Encouragement to pursue their own ideas, interests and creative ambitions

Inspiring the Next Generation Through Art
WWCC Certified - 10+ Years Experience
I turned my passion for art into a full-time creative career, working across mural painting, street art, design and community projects. I love sharing that experience with young people and showing them the creative career pathways that can come from pursuing their own ideas.
For more than 10 years, I’ve worked with schools, community groups and youth organisations delivering workshops, murals and creative programs. I hold a current Working With Children Check and specialise in creating safe, supportive and engaging environments where students can experiment, contribute their ideas and build confidence through art.
