Collaborative Community Mural Project in Ringwood, Melbourne
Working with the Myanmar Community
This mural project was developed as a deeply collaborative experience alongside members of the Myanmar community in Melbourne. Throughout the process, participants shared cultural stories, traditions, and creative inspiration that helped shape the direction of the artwork.
Interactive Mural Painting and Community Participation
Community Contribution to the Final Artwork
Together, we explored traditional motifs and symbolic imagery that reflected cultural heritage and shared values. Community members were invited to actively participate in the painting process, contributing directly to sections of the mural and adding their own personal creative touches. This hands-on involvement transformed the artwork into a shared expression of identity and connection.
