Brimbank Mural Mentorship Program

A community-driven mural mentorship celebrating creativity, learning, and collaboration in Melbourne

Mural Mentorship Program Teaches Artists How To Paint Big!

Category: Community Murals

As a Melbourne mural artist, I specialise in creating large-scale artworks that combine bold visual storytelling with workshops, teaching, and interactive community art projects. My goal is not only to transform walls but also to create opportunities for people of all ages to learn, connect, and take part in the creative process.

Recently, I led The Mural Mentorship Project in partnership with Creative Brimbank, who trusted me to design and deliver a custom month-long mentorship program. Working with a group of emerging Melbourne artists, I guided them through the foundations of graffiti, scaling techniques, and adapting their styles for larger mural formats. Each workshop was tailored to encourage experimentation and collaboration, giving participants both practical skills and confidence to apply in future creative projects.

Mural Project Outcome

The program culminated in a collaborative mural that reflects both the group’s talent and the energy of Melbourne’s local community. The final piece demonstrates how murals can be more than just artwork on a wall — they can spark creativity, bring people together, and create lasting pride in shared spaces. A huge congratulations to the incredible emerging artists who brought this vision to life: Ana Hanson, Riley Magras, Astrid Lempriere, Ziggy Filth, Mugia Cups, and Victoria Duggan. Special thanks to Brimbank City Council & Creative Brimbank for funding this project and supporting opportunities for community-led creativity in Melbourne.
