Black Swan Garage Door Mural in Kew, Melbourne
Custom Garage Door Art That Transforms Your Home
A garage door doesn't have to be a blank, functional surface. For this residential mural in Kew, Victoria, the homeowner wanted something distinctive that would make arriving home a little more exciting. The result was an elegant black swan mural, turning an everyday garage entrance into a striking feature of the property.
The artwork combines transparent spray paint techniques with delicate dry-brush strokes to create depth, texture and a sense of movement. The black swan brings a natural, graceful subject to the design, giving the home a personalised feature that stands apart from a standard garage door.
Bespoke Murals for Garage Doors and Unusual Surfaces
Garage doors present unique challenges, with panels, edges and changes in surface shape that need to be considered throughout the design and painting process. Spray paint is particularly effective for these spaces, allowing colours, shading and imagery to flow across the surface while working with its existing structure.
I create custom residential murals across Melbourne, from garage doors and front fences to courtyard walls and other unconventional surfaces. Whether you're after realistic wildlife, nature-inspired artwork or a bold, colourful design, a mural can turn an overlooked part of your home into something worth looking at every day.
