Cafe and Bar Mural on Sydney Road, Melbourne
A Custom Interior Mural Designed Around the Space
Painted inside a cafe and bar on Sydney Road, Melbourne, this mural was designed to bring colour, energy and a strong visual focal point into the venue. The artwork draws the eye towards the right-hand side of the interior, helping give the space a stronger sense of direction and creating a feature for customers to enjoy.
One of the best parts of working on interesting commercial interiors is finding ways to complement what's already there. The venue's natural timber had a beautiful woodgrain, so rather than covering it completely, I carefully planned the mural's base and painted areas to preserve the timber's appearance while making the most of the surrounding wall. This considered approach allowed the artwork to feel integrated into the venue instead of competing with its existing materials and character.
Unique Murals for Melbourne Cafes, Bars and Restaurants
Every hospitality space has its own personality, and a mural can help bring that to life. My approach combines street art influences, flowing shapes and thoughtful colour choices to create custom artwork that works with the layout, materials and atmosphere of each venue.
From feature walls and timber interiors to unusual architectural details, I enjoy finding creative ways to transform commercial spaces without losing what makes them special. I create custom cafe, bar and restaurant murals across Melbourne, helping businesses add colour, character and a memorable visual feature for their customers.
