At Copperfield College Sydenham Campus, I collaborated with students to design and paint a large-scale school mural that celebrated their core values — Respect, Relationships, Responsibility, and Excellence. The students shared their own creative ideas of what these values meant to them, which I then transformed into a cohesive mural concept. Together, we brought their vision to life, creating an inspiring and meaningful student-led school mural that reflects the heart of their community.
Step By Step Process:
Step 1: Brainstorm ideas with students through an engaging workshop of drawing, conversation & writing
Step 2: Take those ideas back to the studio to create a moodboard with
Step 3: Put together general sketches to give the school options for the look of the mural
Step 4: Finalise mural design and begin preparing paint and materials needed
