Rainbow Lorikeet Mural in Seddon, Melbourne
A Vibrant Native Bird Mural for a Local Melbourne Business
Painted at Eka Wholefoods in Seddon, this mural features a giant Rainbow Lorikeet flying through a colourful, nature-inspired composition. The design was shaped around the wall itself, using the bird’s outstretched wings and a floating flower to create movement through the laneway and draw the eye along the space.
Rather than simply filling the wall with an image, I wanted the artwork to work with its surroundings and transform an underused area into something people would notice. The lorikeet appears to carry the flower away as it flies, giving the mural a sense of movement and a playful story that unfolds across the wall.
Custom Street Art Murals for Melbourne Businesses
The vibrant colours, flowing forms and oversized native bird bring a strong visual presence to the space. The composition also makes use of the wall’s shape, allowing the artwork to feel integrated with the building rather than applied as an afterthought.
I enjoy creating murals for businesses that combine recognisable subjects with expressive street art, whether that means Australian wildlife, abstract patterns or imaginative visual storytelling. For this project, the Rainbow Lorikeet provided a natural focal point, while the surrounding shapes helped bring energy and curiosity to the laneway.
I create custom business murals across Melbourne, including the western suburbs, working with shopfronts, cafes, hospitality venues and other businesses to transform blank walls, laneways and exterior spaces into distinctive artworks.
